JOHN T. POLASEK
John T. Polasek was born in 1964, graduating from
the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical
Engineering in 1987. Thereafter he obtained his J.D., Cum Laude,
from South Texas College of Law in 1990, receiving the Order of
the Lytae Honor. Following his graduation from law school in 1990,
Ted practiced general civil litigation with a Houston based firm,
Lorance & Thompson, until joining the nationally known intellectual
property firm, Arnold, White & Durkee in 1994. In 1995 Ted joined
the newly formed intellectual property litigation boutique Tobor
& Goldstein, becoming a partner in 1997, and a named-partner
in 2001 when the firm subsequently became Goldstein & Polasek.
In 2002, Ted helped co-found Polasek, Quisenberry & Errington,
L.L.P. Ted's practice is primarily patent and trade secret litigation.
In addition to being admitted to practice before the Courts for
the State of Texas, Ted is admitted to the United States Court of
Appeals for the Federal Circuit and a number of federal district
courts. He is a member of the Houston Bar Association, the Houston
Young Lawyers' Association, the Houston Intellectual Property Law
Association, the American Bar Association and the Licensing Executives
