COLIN E. ERRINGTON
Colin E. Errington was born in 1971 in Port Arthur,
Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor
or Science Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1993 and he obtained
his legal degree (JD, summa cum laude) in 1996 from South Texas
College of Law, receiving the Order of the Lytae Honor. While attending
law school, Colin was a member of The South Texas Law Review (1994-1996)
and in 1995 served as an assistant editor. Colin began his legal
career with a small Houston-area IP firm in 1995 as a law clerk,
becoming an associate attorney in 1996 upon graduation from law
school, and ultimately making partner in 2001. In 2002, Colin helped
found Polasek, Quisenberry & Errington, L.L.P. Colin's practice
is primarily devoted to the litigation of patent and trade secret
matters. In addition to being admitted to practice before the Courts
for the State of Texas, Colin is admitted to the United States Court
of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, a number of federal district
courts, and is registered to practice before the United States Patent
and Trademark Office. Colin is also a member of the Houston Bar
Association, the Houston Young Lawyers' Association, the Houston
Intellectual Property Law Association and the American Bar Association.
