John Polasek has been practicing law since 1990. Since 1994, his practice has focused primarily on licensing and litigating matters concerning patents, trade secrets, trademarks and unfair competition. In January 1995 Polasek joined a start-up firm, Tobor & Goldstein, that was designed to enforce intellectual property rights through licensing and litigation. Through those efforts, along with the effort of his partners, Dale Quisenberry and Colin Errington, the firm experienced numerous successes. In 2001, the firm name was changed to Goldstein & Polasek, L.L.P. In 2002, Polasek, Quisenberry & Errington, L.L.P. was established. The firm’s mission is to provide representation to companies and individuals on a contingent fee, mixed-fee or hourly basis. Over the years the firm’s work has been instrumental in obtaining numerous multi-million dollar fees for clients.

John Polasek has vast experience litigating a broad array of intellectual property cases including patent, trademark, trade secret, unfair competition, and related common law and state causes of actions. Through the years, Polasek has also gained experience in a wide variety of technologies, including oil field equipment, medical devices, computer accessories, telecommunications equipment, contact lens and software inventions.
